NOOSHAFARIN 
NooshAfarin began her professional career as an actress but has always dreamed of becoming a singer. She was introduced to Fereydoon Khoshnood, a musician who was just beginning his career as well, and her first song "Ghebleh" was made. With her tremendous talent for singing, she would soon be know as one of Iran's top female vocalists.
NooshAfarin had 27 hit songs before leaving Iran for India in 1986 to discover her love for Indian culture and music. Moving to Canada in 1990 and then settled in Los Angeles in 1994 for the support of a larger Iranian community. Although a bit sad that she had to travel so far away from home to do what she loves the most, she has enjoyed tremendous success here with the recent release of serveral CDs after many years of silence, her voice has remained just as sweet as it ever was. |
